Professional Background:
Ondřej Podeszwa graduated from the Master in History and Foundations of Social Sciences, Teaching for Secondary Schools programme at the University of Hradec Králové (2010). As part of this study, he also completed a 3-month internship at the Alpen-Adria-Universtität in Klagenfurt, Austria. In 2016, he obtained another Master degree in Historical Sociology at the Faculty of Humanities, Charles University. He is currently a PhD. student in Church and General History at the Theological Faculty of the Charles University, Prague, where he focuses on moral social discourse in the second half of the 20th century.
In 2010 – 2017, he worked as a teacher at the J. K. Tyl Grammar School in Hradec Králové, and since 2018, he has been working at the Faculty of Health Studies as an assistant professor. In 2019, he was also a coordinator of the Stories of Our Neighbours in Pardubice for the Post Bellum organization.
