Professional background:
Marketa Moravcova was formally trained in Midwifery, completing her midwifery study in School for Nurses Pardubice in qualification study, Master´s degree at Faculty of Education, Palacky University Olomouc and PhD study at Charles University, Faculty of Medicine at Department of Hygiene and Preventive Medicine. Her PhD research focused on assessment of health related quality of life of postmenopausal women.
Since 2005 she has taught at bachelor and master level and conduct midwifery research at the Department of Midwifery and Health and Social Work, Faculty of Health Studies, University of Pardubice, Czech Republic and at the same time she works as a midwife at the Department of Gyneacology and Obstetrics, Pardubice Hospital, Czech Republic.
She is a board member for Education, Science and Research at Czech Chamber at Midwives. She is member. She is member of Group of education in midwifery of Ministry of Health, Czech Republic.
