Professional Background:
Veronika Kulířová works as a nurse at the Infectious, tropical and parasitic diseases clinic at the Na Bulovce Hospital in Prague, at the same time, she works as an assistant in the Nursing theory and practice institute of the 1st Faculty of Medicine at the Charles University in Prague.
She studied the higher nursing school and the nursing bachelor studies in České Budějovice, consequently, she studied the nursing master studies at the University of health care and social work of St. Elizabeth in Bratislava, Slovakia.
Veronika focuses on HIV infection topic since 2003. At first, she worked as a chief nurse in the Lighthouse (the social and healthcare centre for AIDS prevention and care for HIV positive people). She started working as a chief nurse of the AIDS centre at the Na Bulovce Hospital in Prague in 2012.
She also works as an assistant in the Nursing theory and practice institute of the 1st Faculty of Medicine at the Charles University in Prague since 2015; she gives lectures in nursing and humanities in the general nursing and intensive care specialties.
Since 2015, she studies the Nursing Ph.D. programme at the Faculty of Health Studies of the University of Pardubice and focuses on research related to life quality of the HIV infectious patients.
