The proposed project continues in the theme Quality of care, which was realized by the Faculty of Health Studies in the previous years, and it respects the main focus of the research and the possibilities for the further development in the years 2014-2020. The project is based on the Departmental safety objectives of the Ministry of Health, Czech Republic (specifically the goal 5 ? Introduction of the optimal hand hygiene practices in health care) and the accreditation standards of the Joint Accreditation Commission (Hygiene of the Hospital environment and anti-epidemic measures). The project represents the connection of hygiene and epidemiology in the field of health protection and promotion, improvement of the life quality and extension of the lifespan. It namely focuses on the infections in health care, especially on the anti-epidemical practices as crucial ways to disposal of infections.
