These risks will be defined in line with the evidence-based practice in order to get outcomes of the project that could be used as a specific recommendation to minimize them. The project is based on the Ministry of Health's departmental safety objectives: (RBC 3 - Prevention of patient?s mistaken identity, confusion of medical procedures and parts during surgical procedures, RBC 4 - Prevention of falls, RBC 5 - Implementation of optimal hand hygiene practices in health care provision). We follow on from valid legislation (Decree 306/2012 Coll. on conditions for prevention and spread of infectious diseases and hygienic requirements for the operation of health care facilities and social care institutions), CSN EN 13795: 2011 + A1: 2013, accreditation standards of the Joint Accreditation Commission (Hygiene of the hospital environment and anti-epidemic measures) and the latest scientific findings. The project represents a combination of the areas of Perioperative Care, Hygiene and Epidemiology in the field of health protection and promotion, improvement of the quality of life and raising the length of life.
