The objectives of the project are VV activities leading to the identification of key competences in midwifery and the creation of "birth certificates" of these competences. As a first step, the researchers intend to identify KCs from a set of identified competencies of midwives in the Czech Republic based on the results of a qualitative survey using a focus group. The participants of the focus group will be midwives from different departments in clinical practice, midwives in management positions, or other experts. The results of the focus group will be elaborated within an expert group of midwives - representatives of care providers, educators and representatives of professional organisations. The expert group will also include physician representatives.
