Description:
The project is focused on the assessment of the health condition of patients in nursing practise using selected nursing methods. It is divided into three parts. The first part will be held at the Department of follow-up care. It is focused on an assessment of medical condition with 9 scales, which are part of a functional geriatric assessment and using the scale for subjective evaluation of health condition. The second part is focused on the comparison of pain scales depending on cognitive function. The research will be held at the Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinic and will be used in it three pain rating scales, VAS (Visual Analogue Scale), range Faces Pain Scale and range Faces Pain Scale - Revised (FPS-R). The third part of the project is focused on the evaluation of hearing handicap. It will be held at the Department of Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery. In this part will be studied, what is the connection between hearing loss and daily life including social relationships of patients. Research will be conducted using a prospective, quantitative survey through questionnaires in patients with sensorineural hearing loss caused by noise.
