International collaboration and improved quality of doctoral studies are among the most important strategic goals of the Faculty of Health Studies of the University of Pardubice (FHS UPa), as specified in its strategic document, Long-term intentions for the 2016-2020 period. In line with these efforts, the faculty has developed a new PhD program in Nursing. Its preparation has been supported by a grant Doctoral Study Program in Nursing. This new study program was submitted for accreditation to the National Accreditation Office in 06/2019 and is expected to open in the academic year 2020/21, assuming that it will be accredited. This new PhD study program emphasises international collaboration. The project has three objectives: 1. Enhance international collaboration in research (research by PhD students, their supervisor, post-doctoral scholars). 3. Share best practice.
