Support of FHS PhD Students´ Research Activities in the Field of Healthcare Quality

Description:
The project builds on previous SGS projects and is in line with the research focus of the faculty. The goal is to support the research activities of doctoral students and master's degree programs at the Faculty of Health Studies, University of Pardubice. The support mainly concentrates on the dissertations and diploma theses and related lecture and publication activities of the results. Students involved in the project focus on the selected areas of nursing and evaluation of the quality of nursing care. The main area of interest in the doctoral study program is the creation of a tool for evaluating the quality of pediatric nursing care by hospitalized children. The work of master's degree students is based on the creation and testing of tools for the prevention of mobbing in nurses, screening the risk of malnutrition in patients, knowledge questionnaire for electrocardiogram evaluation by nursing staff, prevention of healthcare-associated infections, and pain management in patients, which form indicators of quality assessment.
