Description:
Qualitative disorders, parosmia and phantosmia are frequent secondary symptoms of post-viral olfactory disturbances. They are known to adversely affect the quality of life and overall health of an individual. Loss of sense of smell and taste are common symptoms of COVID 19 and may persist for a long time. The aim of this study will be to assess the impact of changes following COVID 19 on patients' sense of smell and quality of life. The current project proposal is preceded by a long-standing interest in the quality of life of people with olfactory impairment.
