In cooperation with the staff of the Neurology Clinic (Pardubice Regional Hospital), a pre-study will be conducted to demonstrate whether it is feasible to implement the intended research project focused on the frequency of delirious states caused by an insufficiently stimulating environment in patients at the neurological ICUs. The methodology setup and preparation of the research setting will be verified. The aim of the research will be to demonstrate a statistically significant difference in the incidence of delirious states during the first days of hospitalization in the neurological ICU between groups of patients with modified external stimuli and patients with habitual external stimuli.
