The project aims to gain a deeper understanding of the psychosocial mechanisms of childbirth and the dynamics of the relationship between women and midwives. It is based on a grant proposal submitted to the Czech Science Foundation, which aims to comprehensively analyze the birth experience from the perspective of both mothers and midwives and identify the key factors that shape this experience. Selected sub-goals and research steps will be implemented as part of the two-year IGS project. The primary objective of the proposed project is to translate and psychometrically validate the Labour Ward Job Satisfaction Scale for Midwives, an assessment tool.
