Description:
This project is part of a doctoral dissertation and focuses on the frontal lobe paradox, defined as a discrepancy between preserved formal competence in decision-making capacity tests and impaired real-life autonomy in patients with frontal lobe dysfunction. The aim is to identify factors associated with frontal lobe regions and to examine their relevance to decision-making. Literature analysis and qualitative coding will produce a decision-making model and a key-factor matrix to evaluate the suitability of existing assessment tools for this population.
