eng	Meningocoele orbitalis anterior.	14 years old boy suffered from recurrent oedema of the right orbit. The clinical findings imitated beginning of orbitocellulitis. The CT and MR showed dolichocephaly, aplasia of the right frontal sinus and meningocele in the anterior part of the right orbit. The ligation and the resection of the meningocele in the top of the orbit were performed via medial orbitotomy. Histology confirmed the diagnosis. Complications were not observed during the operation and postoperative period as well as during follow up. In the end the authors compare the patient´s case with literature data.
