Nový pavilon nese jméno zakladatele porodnicko-gynekologického oddělení v Pardubicích MUDr. Cyrila Gály. S jeho jménem je spojena i výuka porodních asistentek v Pardubicích. eng	History of Education of Midwifes in Pardubice Region from 1930 till this time	The education and training of midwifes in Region of Pardubice has a long tradition. The State Institute for Education and Training of Midwifes in Pardubice was already found in 1930. In the end of 2003, one hundred years from foundation of the „New Hospital“ in Pardubice, was finished a reconstruction of the building of maternity and gynaecological ward, at that time in Regional Hospital Pardubice. This new pavilion is named by name of founder of this ward, MUDr. Cyril Gála. With his name is also associated the education of midwivez in Pardubice	History; Midwifes; Hospital; Education
