Quality management on operating theatres should be part of a coordinated process of perioperative care for the client. It is important to focus on the prevention of risks and the emergence of adverse events. Information for the implementation of adequate health care can be obtained for example from the Czech legislation, the accreditation standards and criteria for certification.
