eng	Impact of mid-urethral tape on sexual matters	INTRODUCTION AND AIM OF THE STUDY Mid-urethral tape implantation does not have influence on incontinence only, but also on other functions of pelvic organs, such as on the bladder (improvement of overactive bladder) and vagina. The aim of the study is to determine the influence of tape implantation on sexual life. MATERIALS AND METHODS We included 68 women with urodynamic stress incontinence who all underwent mid-urethral tape implantation. They were invited to fill in a questionnaire (ICIQ-FLUTSsex) just before and three months after surgery. RESULTS Mid-urethral tape implantation significantly reduced disturbing of intercourse by leak of urine and coital incontinence itself. Even discomfort from dry vagina was improved significantly. Mild de-novo-dyspareunia was recorded in 5 patients (7%). INTERPRETATION OF RESULTS Implantation of mid-urethral tape does not worsen sexual life, on the contrary, it mainly helps stopping urine leakage during intercourse and by this means seems to improve even dyspareunia. CONCLUSIONS Mid-urethral tape implantation has favourable side effects on sexual life.	mid-urethral tape; sexual matters
