Filmové utopické představy o směřování společnosti jsou často sekularizovanou formou vidění světa budoucnosti jako sociálně spravedlivého, plného porozumění a lásky. V dystopických představách o pesimistickém vývoji světa se ve filmu často objevuje téma prostředníka a spasitele, který může zachránit lidstvo před katastrofou závěrečného boje. Článek poukazuje na biblické motivy, jak jsou stále přítomny v naší filmové kultuře, a to zejména v existenciálním tázání současného člověka, i když jsou maskovány do fikčního světa filmu. eng Utopism, Dystopism or Salvation: Film Dilemmas in the Prophecies about the Future The article presents a film adaptation of the genre of utopianism, dystopism, and catastrophism in the context of a reflection on the religious background of specific films that were indirectly or directly inspired by Scripture and its visions of apocalypse and eschatology. Film utopian notions of the direction of society are often a secularised form of seeing the world of the future as socially just, full of understanding and love. In the dystopian notions of the pessimistic development of the world, the film often reveals the theme of a mediator and a saviour, who can save humanity from the catastrophe of the final struggle. The task of the theologian is to recognise these biblical motives and to point out how they are still present in our film culture, and especially in the existential questioning of contemporary man, even if they are disguised in the fictional world of film. The theologian should look for the intersections between the world of faith and the fictional world of film. film; utopianism; dystopism; catastrophism; apocalyptic; eschatology
