eng Quality of nursing care from the perspective of hospitalized children Introduction: Evaluation of patient satisfaction with the quality of paediatric care is usually performed from the parents' point of view. This work is focused on the transcultural validation of tools for children. Objective: To present partial results of verification of psychometric properties of the Czech version of the Child Care Quality at Hospital (CCQH) questionnaire. Methods: The CCQH is intended for children aged 7-11 and contains three areas of care (characteristics and activities of nurses and the care environment). The questionnaire survey included 239 respondents. Testing included Cronbach's alpha, t-test, and Principal Component Analysis (PCA). Results Cronbach's alpha was 0.74. The t-test showed statistically significant differences according to the age of the respondents and the place of testing (α = 0.05). The results of the PCA with the latent variable showed the highest communality (h2 = 0.5368 - 0.8460) at the items evaluating the care environment. Conclusion: The research shows new results of the psychometric properties of the Czech version of the CCQH tool. The findings also provide further opportunities for international comparisons of these tools. Child Care Quality at Hospital, Czech version, psychometric properties
