Vyhledávání informací se řídí osobní zkušeností, přičemž téma kvality informací o zdraví dostupných na internetu je velmi živé již po několik desetiletí. Cílem průzkumu bylo zjistit, jak a proč uživatelé webů obsahujících informace o zdraví vyhledávali informace, jak smýšlejí o vybraných kritériích pro hodnocení důvěryhodnosti online informací a čemu spíše věří v situaci, kdy narazí na rozpor s informacemi od lékaře. Metoda. Online dotazníkové šetření mezi uživateli 4 webů obsahujících informace o zdraví, z nichž dva (A a C) jsou v seznamu důvěryhodných webů na portále MedLike. Respondenti byli dotázáni na způsob a důvod hledání informací, na pravděpodobný postup v případě, že se nalezené informace neshodují s těmi od lékaře a u 10 navržených kritérií měli pomocí přidělení počtu hvězdiček vyjádřit, jak důležité jsou pro ně při posuzování důvěryhodnosti online informací a webů (5 hvězdiček = důležitý). Výsledky. Na dotazník odpovědělo 32.428 respondentů (79,5 % žen, průměrný věk 47 let). Nejčastěji uvedenými důvody hledání informací bylo zdraví nebo nemoc vlastní (49 %) a nebo osoby blízké (20 %), méně častěji respondenti hledali informace kvůli svojí profesi (7,5 %) či studiu (3 %). Nejvíce jich vyhledává informace prostřednictvím internetového vyhledávače (66 %). Důležitost kritérií pro výběr informací se zásadně nelišila. Nejvíce bodů (2,29) přidělili respondenti kritériu snadnost (na webu snadno najdu, co potřebuji). Následovala kritéria: shoda s informacemi od lékaře (2,28 hvězdiček), autor textu je lékař (2,14), jsou uvedeny zdroje (2,06), shoda s informacemi z dalších webů (2,03), text prošel kontrolou odborníkem (1,96), v textu nejsou gramatické a stylistické chyby spolu s kritériem je uveden autor textu a informace odpovídají mému přesvědčení (1,82), je uvedeno datum publikace (1,53). Závěr. Respondenti vyhledávali informace způsobem, který je v literatuře popsán jako nejběžnější (s použitím vyhledávače) a tíhnou spíše k heuristickému hodnocení online i Zdravotní gramotnostꓼ informační gramotnostꓼ internetꓼ online informace o zdravíꓼ kritéria pro hodnocení kvality

The aim of the survey was to find out how and why users of websites containing health information searched for information, how they feel about selected criteria for assessing the credibility of information, and what they are more likely to trust when they encounter a discrepancy between information from the website and from a doctor. Methods. An online survey of users of 4 health information websites, two of which are listed as trusted sites on MedLike. The respondents assessed 10 criteria for determining the trustworthiness of online information and websites by assigning a number of stars (5 stars = important). Results. The questionnaire was answered by 32,428 respondents (79.5% women, average age 47 years). The most frequently cited reasons for seeking information were their own health or illness (49%). Most respondents searched for information through an Internet search engine (66%). The importance of the criteria for selecting information did not differ significantly. The respondents gave the highest score (2.29) to the criterion of ease (I can easily find what I need). This was followed by consistency with information from the doctor (2.28). Conclusion. The respondents searched for information in the way described in the literature as most common (using a search engine) and tended towards a heuristic evaluation of online information and its sources (ease of information retrieval) and also appreciated if the information found concurred with information from a healthcare professional. health literacyꓼ information literacyꓼ Internetꓼ online health informationꓼ quality assessment criteria
