Software (dále jen aplikace) je realizovaný jako Android aplikace. Aplikace ke svému spuštění vyžaduje zařízení s Android verze 4.0.3 a novější a s kamerou. Poruchy chuti, tedy vnímání především slané, sladké, hořké a kyselé, nejsou časté a pacienti si je navíc neuvědomují. V době pandemie COIVD-19 se naopak objevovaly velmi často, spojené také s poruchou čichu. Zatímco vyšetření čichu si pacient může provést sám, pro vyšetření chuti není takový test běžně dostupný. Technologie vychází částečně z Taste strips testu a umožňuje vyšetření chuti samotným pacientem s proužky, které mohou stimulovat jednu ze stran nebo obě strany jazyka současně. Kontrola správného provedení je monitorována snímáním kamerou mobilního zařízení nebo počítače. Při nesprávném provedení nebude výsledek vyšetření vyhodnocen. eng	Software for clinical and user taste examination	Software for clinical and user taste examination using TASENS foils. The software is implemented as an Android application. The application requires a device with Android version 4.0.3 or later and a camera to run. Taste disorders, i.e. the perception of mainly salty, sweet, bitter and sour, are not common and are not perceived by patients. In contrast, during the COIVD-19 pandemic, they were very common, also associated with the olfactory disorders. While the patient can perform an olfactory test on his/her own, no such test is routinely available for taste. The technology is based in part on the Taste Strips test and allows for taste testing by the patient themselves with strips that can stimulate one or both sides of the tongue simultaneously. Correct performance is monitored by camera capture by a mobile device or computer. If performed incorrectly, the test result will not be evaluated.
