Dítě prochází různými vývojovými fázemi, má jiné komunikační potřeby, je závislé na rodině a jeho onemocnění má dopad na celou rodinu. Hodnocení potřeb dětských pacientů a jejich rodinných příslušníků je důležité pro poskytování individualizované péče a umožňuje zdravotníkům identifikovat prioritní oblasti, ve kterých potřebují rodiče pomoc a podporu. Objective Zjistit míru potřeb rodin pečujících o dítě s život limitujícím nebo život ohrožujícím onemocněním. Provést jazykovou validaci nástroje Pediatric Palliative Care – Parent & Child Needs Survey (PCNeeds) a ověřit jeho psychometrické vlastnosti. Zhodnotit funkčnost zahraničního dotazníku a možnost jeho využití v českém prostředí. Methods and Research Sample Po získání souhlasu autorů s českým překladem a validací nástroje bude dotazník přeložen z angličtiny do češtiny metodou zpětného překladu podle International Society for Pharmacoeconomics and Outcomes foreign guidelines for transcultural transfer of tools in healthcare tak, aby bylo zahrnuto nejen jazykové, ale i kulturní hodnocení. Po ověření srozumitelnosti 2-3 respondenty bude provedeno pilotní testování zahrnující 10 rodičů, kteří budou ochotni se výzkumu zúčastnit. Podmínkou bude podepsání informovaného souhlasu s výzkumem. Sběr dat proběhne kvantitativní metodou formou dotazníkového šetření. The child goes through different developmental stages, they have different communication needs, they are dependent on their family and their illness has an impact on the whole family. Assessing the needs of pediatric patients and their family members is important for providing individualized care and it allows healthcare professionals to identify priority areas where parents need help and support. Objective Toensure the level of needs of families caring for a child with a life-limiting or life-threatening illness. Perform linguistic validation of the Pediatric Palliative Care – Parent & Child Needs Survey (PCNeeds) and verify its psychometric properties. To evaluate the functionality of the foreign questionnaire and the possibility of its use in the Czech environment. Methods and Research Sample After obtaining the authors' consent to the Czech translation and validation of the tool, questionnaire translated from English into Czech using the method of reverse translation according to the International Society for Pharmacoeconomics and Outcomes, foreign guidelines for transcultural transfer of tools in healthcare, so that not only linguistic but also cultural assessment is included. After verification of comprehensibility by 2-3 respondents, a pilot test will be conducted involving 10 parents who will be willing to participate in the research.
