Effective management often requires multimodal strategies, yet access to care remains limited. Digital technologies may help overcome these barriers, but the role of nurses and allied health professionals is not well defined. Aim: This scoping review aimed to map current applications of digital technologies in the management of migraine and other primary headache disorders, with a focus on the involvement of nurses and allied health professionals, and to identify gaps for future research. Methods: A comprehensive search was conducted in PubMed, Journals@Ovid, Ovid Emcare, Ovid MEDLINE, Ovid Nursing Database, and Academic Search Complete. Keywords included “headache,” “migraine,” “digital,” “app,” “application,” “telemedicine,” “nurse,” “nursing,” and “allied health.” Eligible studies were published in English between 2020 and 2025 with full text available. Results: Of 52 identified articles, 6 met inclusion criteria. Two studies addressed headache without specifying type; four focused on migraine. Case studies from Japan described telemedicine involving a nurse and a midwife. A U.S. cross-sectional study showed that telemedicine facilitated care through headache nurse practitioners and nurses. A Swiss cohort study reported positive outcomes from a workplace migraine program, including individualized telecoaching by a specialized nurse via a smartphone application. Conclusion: Digital technologies are increasingly integrated into migraine and headache care, with nurses and allied health professionals playing important roles. Reported outcomes are positive, but the number of studies remains limited. Further research is needed to evaluate effectiveness and explore perspectives of healthcare managers and educators.	digital technologies; management; nurses; pain management; headache; migraine; scoping review
