Organization and Management in Healthcare – Master’s Program

In this study program, the students will learn to organize and analyze the current situation of an organization. They will learn to set strategic goals and budgets, navigate health and social policy, and communicate effectively. They will participate in research and development in selected fields and will collect and evaluate data. They will learn to develop procedures to improve healthcare quality and to implement new quality and safety assessment systems, based on evidence.
Career opportunities: Graduates gain specialized education for non-medical healthcare professionals and can work in managerial and leadership positions at all levels of healthcare and social institutions. They will become a Specialist in Organization and Management as a qualified expert for clinical practice.
All Master’s programs offered by the Faculty of Health Studies, University of Pardubice also serve as specialization studies for allied healthcare professionals. Meeting the professional practice requirements before graduation ensures that the graduate obtains both a full university degree and specialized competence (as per the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic). Without fulfilling this condition, the graduate receives only the master’s degree.

Teaching in the part-time form takes place irregularly during one semester in two to three weekly blocks and several Fridays.
Note: Although the study program is conducted in Czech, selected courses are available in English as well.

Graduates of our study program can enroll in the Ph.D. study program Health Sciences at the Faculty of Health Studies, University of Pardubice. The PhD. study program admitted its first students in 2025.
