Professional Background:
Kristina Kabíčková graduated at University of Pardubice as a General Nurse (2011) and at Charles University with a master´s degree in Management and Supervision in Social and Health Care Organizations (2015). Currently she studied master´s degree Diabetes – Management and clinical care at King´s College London at Florence Nightingale Faculty of Nursing, Midwifery & Palliative Care. Her MSc. dissertation focuses on hypoglycaemia in people with Diabetes mellitus type 1 and their behaviour.
She worked as a nurse at GPs surgeries and Home care (2014 – 2016) in Czech Republic, then she moved to United Kingdom and worked there as a general nurse mainly at Medical ward and then as a bank nurse all over the hospital (2016 – 2018). She worked as a mentor in the UK for nursing university students. After coming back from the UK to Czech Republic she worked at Diabetes department in Faculty Hospital in Hradec Králové (2018). After these experiences she worked at German company called Contract medical international (which specialize in medical devices – catheters, ear implants etc.) in Hradec Králové as a Documentation Specialist and then at HR department. Since 2020 Kristina started to work at Faculty of Health studies at University of Pardubice as an academic.
