Mgr. Alice Strnadová, MBA, Chief Nurse of the Czech Republic, Director of the Department of Healthcare Professions
Since May 2015, she has held the position of Director of the Department of Nursing and Allied Professions at the Czech Ministry of Health, where she coordinates strategic directions for the development of nursing care and supports the education of nurses and non-medical healthcare professionals in the healthcare system.
As the Chief Nurse of the Czech Republic, she is actively involved in addressing current challenges in nursing, including staffing, strengthening the professional competencies of non-medical professions, and increasing the training capacity of healthcare personnel. She regularly participates in professional discussions, conferences, and working groups focused on the quality of healthcare, legislative changes, and the strategic development of the nursing profession.
She is also active in awarding professional awards for outstanding achievements in nursing and regularly meets with professionals and the general public to promote the professional growth and recognition of nurses in the Czech Republic.
