Job Satisfaction and Nurse Work Well-Being: Evidence From a Multinational Study

Dominika Vrbnjak is an Associate Professor at the University of Maribor, Faculty of Health Sciences. She is a registered nurse with academic and teaching experience gained through visiting appointments at the University of Osijek and the University of Rijeka in Croatia. Early in her academic career, she was awarded the most prestigious national grant for young researchers, which funded her PhD studies. During her doctoral training, she was also a visiting PhD student at the Waterford Institute of Technology in Ireland. She obtained her PhD from the University of Maribor Faculty of Medicine, focusing on caring, patient safety, and medication administration in nursing. Her research interests include caring science, patient safety, and quality in nursing education and clinical practice. She has participated in and coordinated several national and international projects related to pedagogical approaches in nursing and the integration of technology in nursing education. Her teaching primarily focuses on research methods and evidence-based practice. Dominika is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, the European Academy of Nursing Science, and the International Association for Human Caring. She also collaborates within two international informal research groups: Understanding Development Issues in Nurse Educator Careers (UDINE-C) and Caring Science International Collaborative (CSIC).
