RNDr. Jitka Jírová has been working at the Institute of Health Information and Statistics of the Czech Republic since 2013 as an analyst and methodologist for the National Reproductive Health Registry. At the same time, as part of her postgraduate studies, she collaborates with the Department of Demography and Geodemography, Faculty of Science, Charles University, where she studied demography.

In her professional career, she has long been involved in reproductive health issues, focusing on the analysis of data on the course of childbirth, the health status of mothers and newborns, and the field of assisted reproduction. She participates in the methodological management of registers, the creation of data collection methodologies, and their gradual digitization. She was part of the process of transitioning from paper reporting to an electronic system and also the gradual opening and publication of data. Currently, the data is used in several national projects and key analytical outputs.

She works closely with professional medical societies and is a member of working groups at the Czech Ministry of Health and the Office of the Government of the Czech Republic, where she participates in the design and organization of reproductive health care. She is actively involved in international cooperation, particularly in the Euro-Peristat and EIM ESHRE projects.

She regularly lectures at conferences to doctors and the professional and lay public on topics related to reproductive health and demographic aspects of healthcare.
