Smrt rodiče je pro nezletilé dítě vždy traumatizující. Smrt jediného rodiče je extrémně traumatizující. Cíl: Identifikovat specifické oblasti péče o tuto cílovou skupinu jak z pohledu umírajícího rodiče, tak z pohledu nezletilého dítěte. Metodika: Skupinový rozhovor metodou focus group s lékařskými i nelékařskými pracovníky hospice, jež se podíleli na péči o tuto cílovou skupinu. Výsledky: Plánování péče o umírajícího rodiče i plánování budoucí péče o děti umírajících rodičů samoživitelů je obtížné. Klade vysoké nároky jak na poskytovatele péče, tak na umírající rodiče i děti samotné. Klíčovou roli hraje efektivní komunikace v rámci týmu i mezi týmem, pacientem a dítětem. Závěr: Nutnost věnovat pozornost této cílové skupině je zřejmá. Péče o umírajícího rodiče samoživitele s nezletilým dítětem má svá specifika. eng	Dying single parent with minor child.	Introduction: To cope with the incurable disease is difficult. The more difficult it is for single parents with minor child. Death of a parent is a minor child always traumatic. The death of one’s parents is extremely traumatic. Objective: To identify specific areas of care for this target group both in terms of dying parents and in terms of minor children. Methodology: Group interview with method of focus group with medical and non-medical hospice workers who were involved in the care of this target group. Results: Planning care for dying parents and planning future care of children of single dying parents is difficult. It places high demands on the caregiver and the dying parents and the children themselves. The key role of effective communication within the team and between the team, the patient and her baby. Conclusion: The need to pay attention to this target group is obvious. Caring for a dying parent families with minor child has its own specifics.
