eng Child Care Quality at Hospital questionnaire - the validation of the Czech version Introduction Valid tools for assessing patient satisfaction are available only for adult patients in Czech practice at a national level. Our work focuses on creating a tool for children. Objective To present the validation of the Czech version of the Child Care Quality at Hospital (CCQH) questionnaire. Methods The questionnaire was developed in Finland. The creation of the Czech version was carried out following the international guidelines for the transcultural transfer of the tools. Testing of the tool was performed by Mixed research. Results The translation of the tool identified its problem areas. Experts positively evaluated the idea of creating a tool for children. The first statistical analysis of the questionnaire survey data confirmed the appropriate psychometric properties of the tool. However, the evaluation of the practicality of the tool has repeatedly shown that it is too long, complex for small children and some items do not correspond to the context of Czech practice. Conclusion National specifics should be respected when transferring instruments. The questionnaire can be used in Czech practice only under the conditions of cooperation with a competent adult. We recommend its use primarily for research purposes. The results provide the possibility of international comparison. For Czech clinical practice, we recommend a tool, that is shorter, simpler, and respects its specifics. Czech version of CCQH, quality of care, psychometric properties, practicality
