eng Monitoring Quality of life of patient with Crohns disease Introduction Crohn's disease is an inflammatory disease that occurs as a relapse or remission. According to symptomatology, interventions are chosen in order to increase the quality of life of patients. Objective To monitor patients' quality of life and evaluate the factors that affect it. Methods The IBDQ and WHOQOL-BREF questionnaires were used to determine quality of life and were supplemented by the Best index to evaluate the clinical activity of the disease. In the second phase, the research was supplemented by semi-structured interviews. Results The evaluation of the quality of life by the IBDQ questionnaire proved a reduced quality of life in women, smokers and disease activity. Conversely, the difference in quality of life assessment was not demonstrated by type of treatment. When comparing the quality of life of patients with the population norm, the smallest difference was found with patients in remission. Qualitative research has found a negative impact on the quality of life by disease relapse due to numerous emptying of diarrheal stool. This affects fatigue and exhaustion. Conclusion From the overall data, the level of quality of life is evaluated from a bio-psycho-social point of view, factors negatively affecting the quality of life are found and solutions to not only problem areas are proposed.
