Nabízí se proto otázka, do jaké míry bude ovlivněna kvalita života seniora, která vychází z mnoha proměnných. Jednou z nich je inkontinence moči. Cíl: Zjistit, jak senioři vnímají urgentní močovou inkontinenci v závislosti na věku a pohlaví. Metodika: Pro průzkumné šetření byla zvolena kvantitativní metoda sběru dat pomocí standardizovaného dotazníku KHQ u seniorů nad 65 let s diagnostikovanou urgentní inkontinencí. Výsledky: Z celkového počtu 62 respondentů se průzkumu zúčastnilo 34 žen (54,8 %) a 28 mužů (45,2 %) nad 65 let. Při zhodnocení dotazníku u celého průzkumného vzorku respondentů se ukázala jako nejvíce ovlivněná doména prožívání činností nebo situací, a naopak nejméně ovlivněná doména osobní vztahy. Při dílčím zhodnocení je největší rozdíl mezi pohlavím shledán v doméně emocí, kdy ženy ji vnímaly hůře. U seniorů vyššího věku je hůře vnímán jejich celkový zdravotní stav a u seniorů nižšího věku jsou hůře vnímány osobní vztahy. Závěr: Z průzkumného šetření vyplynulo, že močová inkontinence je v dnešní době stále aktuálním tématem. Urgentní inkontinence má vliv na život seniorů. eng	Perception of urgent urinary incontinence by elderly	Aging and old age are an inherent part of life. Old age is a period of life that brings with it both joys and many difficulties. The question therefore arises to what extent the quality of life of the elderly will be affected, which is based on many variables. One of them is urinary incontinence. Objective: To find out how seniors perceive urgent urinary incontinence depending on age and gender. Methodology: For the exploratory investigation, a quantitative method of data collection using a standardized KHQ questionnaire was chosen for seniors over 65 with diagnosed urge incontinence. Results: Out of a total of 62 respondents, 34 women (54.8%) and 28 men (45.2%) over 65 took part in the survey. When evaluating the questionnaire for the entire survey sample of respondents, the most affected domain was the experience of activities or situations, and on the contrary, the least affected domain was personal relationships. In a partial evaluation, the biggest difference between the sexes is found in the domain of emotions, where women perceived it worse. For older seniors, their general state of health is perceived more poorly, and for younger seniors, personal relationships are perceived more poorly. Conclusion: The exploratory investigation showed that urinary incontinence is still a topical issue nowadays. Urgent incontinence affects the lives of seniors.
